Video Summer School: Digital reconstruction in Art History
At a height of 25 metres, a group of young art history students from various Dutch universities are creating a 3D model of unique 16th-century ceiling paintings of the Grote Kerk Naarden. It is the first time that a 3D model of this scale has been used in the Netherlands for scientific research and for the conservation and restoration of this unique and very vulnerable heritage.
