OSK PhD researchers visited the solo exhibition of Małgorzata Mirga-Tas

On Friday 6 December, the OSK PhD Council organized a visit to the first solo exhibition in the Netherlands of Małgorzata Mirga-Tas (Zakopane, 1978), at Bonnefantenmuseum Maastricht. Mirga-Tas’ work challenges the dominant stereotypical images of the Roma, and at the centre of the exhibition, titled This is not the end of the road, stands the series Re-enchanting the World she made for the Venice Biennale. The OSK PhD day, including an inspiring tour with Roxy Jongewaard (junior curator of contemporary art at Bonnefantenmuseum), was a great success.
