On 17 September 2024, Caroline McCaffrey-Howarth will deliver the annual Daniel Marot Lecture at the Rijksmuseum. Her presentation will focus on the art collection of the extraordinary art collector Lady Charlotte Schreiber (1812-1895), whose significant bequests to the South Kensington Museum (now the V&A) and the British Museum were unprecedented for a female benefactor in nineteenth-century Europe.
The lecture talk will be followed by a reception. For more information and tickets go to the Rijksmuseum’s website: Daniel Marot Lecture – Rijksmuseum
